It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward King age 87 years on Monday, May 30, 2022 at Carbonear General Hospital.
Predeceased by his wife Betty, parents Elmer and Rachael King and nephew Shawn Snow.
Leaving to mourn sisters Lizzie Snow (Bill), Bessie Cole (Ern); brother Chester King; Brother in law Bruce Molloy (Kitty); sister in law Pearl Oxford (Gerald); nieces Lisa (Matt), Vicki (William); nephew Neil (Roxanne); great nephew Mitchell and great niece Shauna; also other relatives and friends.
Edward worked at Prince of Wales Arena and the Eastern School Board for over forty years till he retired. Edward enjoyed his life by going trouting and fishing and also loved camping in his van. Riding on his quad and he liked to do carpentry work.
Edward will be missed forever and will live in our hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Cremation has taken place.
There will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 1st, 2002 at 3:00 pm at the Carnell Memorial Chapel, 329 Freshwater Road. Internment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
No flowers by request. Donations in his memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
