Edward “Eddy”‘s Obituary
Edward Curtis Selig “Eddy “- 59, Tatamagouche, passed away September 24, 2022 at home. Born in Annapolis Royal, he was the son of the late Wilbert Sr. and Iris (Dorey) Selig.
Eddy worked for many years as a carpenter, often doing a variety of tasks. A notable one being a shingling job on the steeple of the St. James Church in Great Village. During election time, Eddy could often be seen assisting with signage, which was something he truly enjoyed.
He is survived by sons, Jason and Edward; daughter, Lisa Joe as well as four grandchildren all of Halifax; brothers, Randy (Valerie), North River, Tony (Helen), Truro; sisters, Darlene (Wayne) Whynot, Brickton, Anna. Co., Elizabeth (Bill) McLain, Bridgewater, Cindy Selig, Hillsborough NB, Sheila (Eddie) Patriquin, Wentworth.
Along with his parents he was predeceased by brothers, Joey and Willie; sister, Judy.
Combined Graveside Service for both Eddy and Willie will be held Thursday, September 29th at 2pm in Lockerby Memorial Cemetery, Tatamagouche, with Rev Connie McNamara officiating. Donations may be made to Victorian Order of Nurses – Colchester Branch. Arrangements are under the direction of Coulter’s Funeral Home, Tatamagouche.
