Edna Mae Phillips 2022

Obituary of Edna Mae Phillips
PHILLIPS, EDNA MAE (nee CLAYTON): On April 10, 2022, Edna passed away at the age of 89. Predeceased by her loving husband Reg (2006), and her sons T.J. (2004) and Richie (1972). Devoted mother to April Phillips, and Katie Waddell (Geordie). Devoted grandmother to Courtney (Josh), Alec, Emily and Anna. Edna was born in Port Colborne, and left home at 17 to begin a teaching career. Edna taught in Caistor and in Niagara-on-the-Lake before venturing off to Chibougamau Quebec with Reg. She raised her family in Burlington, and was involved in many volunteer projects with local historical societies. She was a strong and determined woman who had strong faith that brought her through good times and bad. Our thanks to Chartwell Lakeshore for their care for Mum during her last few months. The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 18 at 11 am at St. Elizabeth’s Anglican Church, 5324 Bromley Road, Burlington. If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Elizabeth’s Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Edna Mae Phillips 2022..
