HOWSE, Edith Selena – Passed peacefully away at Pleasant View Towers on Thursday, January 13, 2022. Edith Selena Howse, age 83 years. Predeceased by her parents, William and Phoebe Elford and sister, Dona Smith. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 59 years, Selby; children – Cheryl (Robert) Gdyk, Denise (Robert) Ball; grandchildren – Erika (Chadd) McNeilly, Katie (Rennie) Diamond, Rebecca Barrett (Tyler Oxford), Isaiah Ball and Ella Ball; great – grandchildren: Joel, Claira and Sadie; sisters: Marjorie (Bruce) Reid, Betty (Wallace) Pitcher, Joyce (Charles) Smith; brothers-in-law: Cyril Smith and Jacob Howse; and sister-in-law – Phyllis Howse. She also leaves to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation for family only to be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl on Saturday, January 15 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A private, family only, service will follow at Barrett’s Memorial Chapel. COVID Alert Level 4 regulations are to be followed. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
