Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edith Saulnier of College Bridge who passed away at the CHU Dr. Georges L. Dumont on December 16, 2022 at the age of 84 surrounded by her children. Born in Memramcook on November 28, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Abbey and Eveline (Leger) Landry. Edith was a kind-hearted woman who was always willing to help in any way she could. Her pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. She worked as an insurance agent for her own company Saulnier Insurance and after Gaudet Saulnier Insurance until her retirement. She liked the personal contact with her clients. Over the years, she enjoyed her travelling adventures with her friends. She had been a member of the Dames d’Acadie for several years. She will be sadly missed by her son Paul (Marcelle), her daughter, Ginette (Adrien), her precious grandchildren, Alex and Janie, four sisters, Sr. Bertha Landry ndsc, Aline (Damien) Cormier, Bernadette (Gerard) Dupuis and Rachel (Phil) Belliveau, one brother, Gerard (Eva) Landry and by several nieces and nephews. Beside her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Frank, three infant children, Denise, Daniel and Gilles and three brothers, Hervé, Laurie and George. Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Tuesday December 20 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral mass will be held at the St-Thomas de Memramcook Roman Catholic Church, St-Joseph on Wednesday December 21 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
