Edith Marie Beer (nee Vance)
of Arthur passed away peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital, on Thursday, October 13, 2022 in her 77th year. Beloved wife of the late Earle Beer (2010). Cherished mother of Dale and Janet Beer of Waterloo and Lisa Beer and Ron Bults of Alma. Nanny will be missed by her grandchildren Amanda and her fiancé John Amy, Branden Bults and Katie Bott, Dylan and Marcia Bults, Dustin Bults and Madison Armstrong, Becky Bults and Eric Visakaly, Tamika Kirk, Matthew Beer, Jacob Beer, Emily Beer, Chantelle Hallman and Sean Suitor, Tyler Hallman and Sarah Hallman-Krul and Shawn Mercer and Jordan Robinson and great grandchildren Bentley, Jaxson, Emma-Lee, Emmit, Jolene, Maddaline, Charlotte. Sister of Marilyn and Glenn McKee, Sharon and Ron Schmidt, Linda Vance, Bonnie and Don Campbell, Alice and Nick Murray, Brenda Moore (Vic), Sandra and Kevin Dunlop. Sister-in-law of Mary DeLong. Fondly remembered by Ans Bader, her nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her children Jody (1972) and Christine (2020), parents Arthur and Alicia Vance, mother-in-law and father-in-law Henry and Noreen Beer, brother Ross and Doris Vance and brother-in-law Ron DeLong.
The family will receive friends at the Crawford Funeral Chapel, 243 George Street, Arthur on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
The Funeral Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday October, 21, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment in Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur.
As expressions of sympathy donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Hamilton General Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
