EDISON LOIS EMMA PAULINE 2022

March 6, 1957- February 12, 2022
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that the family announce the sudden passing of their sister, Lois Edison of Roddickton, NL at the Western Memorial Hospital in Corner Brook, NL on Saturday, February 12, 2022, after a brief illness.
Lois was born to the late William and Mary Edison of Roddickton, NL on March 6, 1957. She grew up in Roddickton. When she finished High School, she went to St. John’s, NL and studied to be a Lab/X-Ray Technician. After graduating, she moved back to her home town of Roddickton and worked with Grenfell Health for 35 plus years.
After retirement, she enjoyed going on trips and cruises with her sisters, gardening and the outdoor life. She gave her heart to the Lord at a young age and faithfully served Him, until He called her home.
Left to mourn with many fond and loving memories are: Brothers: Cecil (Betty), Roy (Verna), Wilson (Bernice), Fred (Dora); Sisters: Maisie (Donald), Dorothy (Kildare), Elsie, Pearl, Joyce (Christoher), Faye (David), Wavey (Wade) and a number of Nephews and Nieces.
Predeceased by her parents, William and Mary; brother Douglas and Sister-in-Law Daphne; Great-Nephews Dustin and Nicholas; Great – Niece Hannah; Brother-in-Law Beatie Hancock, Grandparents and many Aunts and Uncles.
Family visitation took place at Calvary Pentecostal Temple, Roddickton, NL. The funeral took place at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 16, 2021 with Pastor Robert Paddock officiating. Interment followed. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kerry M Fillatre Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Alicia Patey, Funeral Director.
