Obituary of Edgar Walter Taylor
Peacefully at University Hospital on June 9 in his 88th year.
Beloved husband of Rita Theodora (Bazinet) Taylor.
Dear step-father of Cathy Eggel (spouse of Conrad Eggel) of London, ON, Mike Bazinet (spouse of Judy Bazinet) of Medicine Hat, AB, Pauline Hill (spouse of Rob Hill) of Sarnia, ON, Russell Bazinet (partner of Susan Monk) of London, ON, Margaret Amond (spouse of Doug Amond) of London, ON, and Sharon McCready (spouse of Bruce McCready) of London, ON.
Loving grandfather of 15 grandchildren and great grandfather of 15 great grandchildren.
Edgar grew up in Toronto as an only child. He was a travelling sales representative who serviced shops in northern Ontario. He married and settled in North Bay with his wife Rita. He enjoyed listening to music and watching sports.
Edgar was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Legion.
A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Edgar’s life will be held at a later date.

    I have just read of your loss for Ed, and learned you mostly all live away from North Bay now. I wanted you to know that you are in my thoughts and hope you find comfort in the good memories you have of him, as well as his sense of humour. He will leave a void I know, as I too have just lost both parents in the past 6 months.
