Edgar Ferron
March 7, 1938 – March 12, 2022
Surrounded by the soothing love and comfort of his family, Edgar Ferron passed away with peace and dignity on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at the age of 84 years. This quiet and humble man cherished his family and sought joy with them camping, fishing, skiing, at dinner gatherings and playing card games. Edgar leaves a long list of notable contributions to many construction projects like Science North and Inco/Falconbridge facilities during his tenure in a carpenter career that spanned 46 years. Devoted husband of Yvonne (née Doucet) Ferron of Sudbury for 57 years. Proud father of Michel Ferron (Jennifer Hanson) and Lynn Ferron (Donald Milbury). Cherished Pépère of Jasmine Ferron (Sean Hawkins), Lucas Ferron, Logan Ferron, Jacob Milbury and Lyam Milbury. Dear brother of Marie-Jeanne Paulin (Almanzar), Fernand (Patricia), Rosalie, Marie-Claire, Henri-Paul (Francine) all from N.-B. and Fernande Landry (Emile) from Sudbury. Predeceased by four brothers, Silfred (Denise), Lazare (late Claudia), Étienne (late Pierrette), Livain (Irène) and one sister, Adrienne (late Albert Haché). Equally missed by nearly 100 nieces, nephews, as well as friends and neighbors. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4570, St-Joseph St., Hanmer on Friday, March 18, 2022 from 2 to 5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Ste-Marguerite d’Youville Church, Val Thérèse.
