Obituary of Eddie Morrison
Edward “Eddie” Morrison of Union Centre, Pictou County passed away on March 3, 2022 in Glen Haven Manor.
Born in New Glasgow, on April 15, 1942, he was a son of the late Robert and Latisha (Taylor) Morrison.
Eddie had lived at Riverton Heights for several years prior to going to Glen Haven. He was an adherent of St. Paul United Church, Westville. Eddie worked for several years at Trueman Matheson Saw Mill and later with the Dept. of Highways.
He will be dearly missed by his sisters, Faye MacLean (Jim), Union Centre and Molly Cameron, New Glasgow; brother Joe, Union Centre; sister in -law Dolorosa Morrison, Union Centre; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by sisters, Ida Cameron (Lyons), Florence Cameron (Bernie), Annie Davis (Milton), Jane Kenny (Howard), and brothers Willie (Gail) and Robert .
Eddie is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville with visiting on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. His funeral service will be held 2 o’clock Monday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with Rev. Dr. Mary Taylor officiating. Masks are required. Spring burial will be in the Auburn Cemetery.
