Obituary of Dylan Wayne Cline
Dylan Wayne Cline
“Smooth Seas Never Made A Skilled Sailor.”
1984-2022
It is with heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Dylan Wayne Cline on Wednesday April 6, 2022, at the age of 38. Born in Machias, ME on January 27th, 1984, he was the beloved son of Maurice Cline and Anna Fletcher and her husband Robert Fletcher. Cherished father of Alexa Leona Rose Cline and Asia Anne Robinson and the love of his life, Taunya Russell. Survived by his siblings: Kyle Fletcher (Stephanie Barker), Jade Robbins (James) and Robyn Fletcher, along with his nieces and nephews: Tegan, Ryan, Jordyn, Karsyn and Kamryn, his beloved Grandmother: Beverly Savage, his Aunt Sarah Fitzgerald, and Uncle Scott Fitzgerald. Cousins: Tobin Fitzgerald, Brendan Fitzgerald, Shamus Fitzgerald, Jack Fitzgerald. He was predeceased by his brother Brandon Cline (2002) and sister Deidre Cline (2016). Robert’s parent’s Raymond and Patricia Fletcher and cherished Grandparents Winston “Skipper” Cline and Nana Cline. His beloved Grandfather “Ga,” Robert Fitzgerald passed away just 2 days after. Dylan was adventurous. He loved the outdoors, taking walks in woods, hunting and four-wheeling with Alexa. He was a natural born fisherman; saltwater ran through in veins. He loved all things to do with boats and fishing. He prided himself for his shucking abilities. From the time he was a small boy he could be found “shucking” rocks or “working” on the F/ V Miss Cline and the F/V Miss Fletcher. Dylan had many friends and family who loved him, he will be remembered for his quick wit, infectious personality, work ethic and ability to carry on a conversation about anything and everything, especially history. Dylan will primarily be remembered by these things, although sadly he battled the disease of addiction for many years. The family wants to thank everyone in the community who helped Dylan throughout the years, and we also want his memory to live on by remembering addiction can happen to anyone and if you know anyone who is suffering, please reach out to them and treat them with kindness and respect. Your small acts of kindness went a long way in Dylan‘s life and left a good legacy for his family and daughters. The visitation will be at Humphreys Funeral Home (20 Marks St. St. Stephen NB) on Monday April 11, 2022 from 2-4 PM. Cremation to follow; a graveside memorial service will be held at 1pm on Wednesday April 13, 2022 at Wilson’s Beach Community Cemetery on Head Harbour Road. A reception and celebration of life will be held at the Beacon Hope Church immediately following. For those who wish, the family would like to request donations be made to a facility that helps with Mental Health and Addiction Service of your choice within New Brunswick or Maine. (I.e. privately run facilities like Arise, Portage) On line condolences to the family and for those who wish, donations can be made at www.humphreysfh.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care & direction of Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, NB, E3L 2B2 (506 – 466 – 3110)
