Peacefully at the South Huron Hospital on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 of Grand Bend and formerly of Birr in his 80th year. Loving husband of Marion (Bannister) Duncan for over 57 years. Dear father of James Duncan (Marina) of London. Proud grandfather of Samantha Bowen (Brandon) of Thamesford, Savanah Duncan of London, and great-grandfather of Landon Bowen. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Betty Duncan of London, Bill and Marilyn Bannister of Strathroy, and Barney Clarke of Crediton. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Ken and Anne Duncan, brother and sister-in-law Bob and Jacquie Duncan, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Gordon and Audrey Bannister, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Albert and Mary Bannister, sister-in-law Beth Clarke, and nephews Wayne Duncan, and Scott Bannister. Joe enjoyed his many hobbies. He was an avid fisherman, wood worker, and was proud to restore his 1970 ford cabover antique truck. A special thank you to the Doctors and Nurses at South Huron Hospital for their care and compassion towards Joe.
As per Joe’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Haskett Funeral Home, LUCAN entrusted with arrangements.
