Dulcie Viola Pelley 1937 2022

Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, Dulcie Viola Pelley, age 85 years. Dulcie was predeceased by her husband Lloyd Pelley, parents: Eli and Fanny Jenkins; brother Stanley Jenkins; sisters Ettie Thomas and Bessie Parrott.
Dulcie leaves with precious memories her children: Archie, Stanley (Queen), Sharon (Brian), Brian (Donna), Wallace (Angela), Jackie (John); grandchildren: Bradley (Michelle), Bretta (Lucas), Brent, Joshua, Alex (Megan), Courtney (Mark), Casey (Trista), Jessica (Brian), Julianna (Dylan), and Stephen; great-grandchildren: Alexa, Nate, Brielle, Libby, Darcy, Soleil, Felicity, Carter, Fenley, Isla, Bella, Rose, Lox and Oliver; siblings: Marjorie Earle, May Adey, Cora (Lloyd) Rideout, Edith (Ewen) Canning, Leo (Christine) Jenkins, Daisy Harvey, and Lloyd Jenkins; in laws: Fred (Chris) Pelley, Phyllis (Doug) Small and Shirley Jenkins as well as a circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A very special thank you to Notre Dame Bay Compassion Care and Dulcie’s Home Care Workers who took such great care of her and to Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre for their tireless care and compassion.
A public visitation will take place from Isles Funeral Home, Twillingate on Thursday, September 29, 2022, from 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held from the Central United Church, Twillingate on Friday, September 30 at 2pm with burial at the United Church Cemetery, Durrell.
Donations may be made in Dulcie’s memory to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
