Duane Reaume October 26 2022

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Duane Reaume of Dover Centre in his 54th year. Cherished son of Judy and her partner Gerald Burtch, and Lenard and his partner Linda Daly. Loving father of Jocelyn Reaume (James Morrison). Dear sister of Irene Calhoun (Allen) of Woodstock and predeceased by his brother Leonard “Lenny”. Duane was a hard-working guy, a “Mr. Fix It” and “Jack of all trades” and because of this he would always help anyone who needed a hand or favor. He was a person you could rely on, and yet in helping others he never asked for anything in return. Duane loved the outdoors, fishing, and wildlife. He loved fruit and was known to especially love watermelon. Duane didn’t judge and he always took you at face value. He was open-minded, very funny and will be remembered for his distinctive laugh. Family and friends are invited to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington West, Chatham, 519-352-2710, on Tuesday November 1st, 2022, with visiting from 1 to 3 pm and 6 to 9 p.m. Cremation to follow with interment at a later date. Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider a charity of their choice. On-line condolences may be left at www.alexanderandhoulefuneralhome.ca
