Outre son épouse Claire Corbeil, le défunt laisse dans le deuil ses enfants : Marie-Claire (Marc Cannarsa), Catherine (Jean-Philippe Robin), ses petits-enfants : Léo, Jean-Félix, Olivier, Jean-Frédéric, Matt et Sacha.
Lui survivent également sa sœur : Marie-Andrée, ses beaux-frères et belles-sœurs, ses neveux et nièces, autres parents et amis.
