Passed away peacefully at the Eventide Home on Tuesday November 29, 2022 at the age of 87. Loving husband of the late Shirley Vout (2018). Beloved father of Mary Jane (Chris Smith), Lorena (Gord Shipperbottom, and Jamie Vout (Kathleen). Proud Papa of Shannon (Pete), Ray, Jason (April), Brandon, Austin, Sean, Kyler, Autumn, Brandon, and Danni-Lynn. Great grandfather of Schuyler, Allie and Raphael. Predeceased by parents Arthur and Mary Vout, siblings Albert (Berl), Blanche (the late Gord), Lorne (May), and Audrey (the late Pat).
Visitation will be held at Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court Street, St. Catharines on Monday December 5, 2022 from 2-4PM & 7-9PM. A Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 11AM. Memorial donations to Salvation Army Eventide Home would be appreciated.

My deepest condolences to the entire vout family on the loss of your father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Having been lifelong friends with Shannon, I’ve spent time with her family at bbqs, weddings, and holidays over the years. I’m so very sorry for this great loss. I’m sure he his in heaven, reunited with his beautiful wife-the most beautiful woman in the world. May they Rest In Peace in together. Another angel got his wings.
