Dorthy’s Obituary
Thomson, Dorthy Lee – 74, Pugwash, passed away February 9, 2022, at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Pugwash, she was a daughter of the late Lorne Alexander Campbell and Dorothy (Lockhart) Campbell Casson. Dorthy had lived in Scarborough, Sandford, Zephyr and Beaverton, Ontario, where had worked as a Registered Nurse for over 30 years before moving to Pugwash. She returned to work as a supervisor at the East Cumberland Lodge for several years before completely retiring. Dorthy loved vanilla ice cream, cinnamon buns and her dogs. Surviving are her sons, Norman Alexander (Antonietta) Thomson, North York, ON and Bryan Keith (Linda) Thomson, Newmarket, ON; daughter, Elaine Jean (Tom) Harrison, Woodville, ON; grandchildren, Charlotte Thomson; Logan & Alexis Thomson; Colton & Katelyn Harrison; siblings, Reg (Sheila) Campbell, Dartmouth, Anne Kent, Woodbridge, ON., Nancy (Ian) Mundle, Pugwash; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Norman Wayne Thomson and brother-in-law, Neil Kent. A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date.
