Dorothy Irene (Dinsmore) Glasser of Southampton, formerly of Chesley, passed away surrounded by her daughters at Southampton Care Centre on Monday, April 11, 2022, in her 94th year.
Loving mother of Sharon Patterson (Stan Tolton), Elaine and her husband Ken McLeod, all of Southampton, and Valerie and her husband Wally Harvie of Chesley. Cherished grandmother of Michael (Deb), April (Jason), Kent (Tina), Leigh-Anne (Trevor), Krista (Jamie), Dana (Steve), Brett (Jody) as well as the great-grandmother of Sadie, Rachel, Lucas, Scarlett, Kane, Kesler, and Ashlyn. Dorothy will be fondly remembered by her sister Ella Mae Black of Chesley, brother Ivan (Unita) Dinsmore of Owen Sound, sisters-in-law Shirley Dimoff, Judy Dinsmore, and brother-in-law Ross Ziegler. She was predeceased by her husband Carl (2012), son-in-law Dave Patterson, sisters Lois Olmsted, Donelda (Cliff) Lee, Mary Ziegler, Eleanor in infancy, brothers Jim (Wilma) Dinsmore, Tom (Phyllis) Dinsmore, Jack Dinsmore, brother-in-law Eldon Black and her parents Clifford and Irene (Heslip) Dinsmore.
Visitation will be held at Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley on Friday, April 15, 2022, from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 noon. Spring interment in Chesley Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Chesley Hospital Foundation, St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
