Dorothy Ann Campbell
1941-2022
In Loving Memory of
Dorothy Ann Campbell
March 3, 1941
– March 26, 2022
The family of Dorothy Ann (Pearcey) Campbell
– 81, of Kentville, are saddened to announce her passing on
Saturday, March 26, 2022 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born
in St. John’s, NL, she was a daughter of the late Jasper and
Enid (MacGillvary) Piercey and married for 60 years to T. Conrad
Campbell.
Dorothy had a career with Scotiabank that
spanned over 35 years, dedicating a total of 38 years in banking. She
was a member of the Kentville Lioness Club for several years, and
following her retirement from the bank, she volunteered at the Valley
Regional Hospital.
Dorothy had a love for travel, including trips
away with family and times spent with good friends. She cherished
every moment with the people close to her; visits with family from
Alberta, scenic drives around the Shore, or Sunday dinners with all
the crowd. She loved any reason to get together or dine at a great
restaurant. In recent years, her great grandson has been a shining
light in her life. He would take such great care of his
“Nan” and she loved spending time with
him.
Dorothy can best be remembered for her laughter
and sense of humor. She has given us a lifetime of wonderful memories
and will forever be in our hearts. She was loved by her family and
friends and will be missed dearly.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, T. Conrad
“Con” Campbell; son, Stephen (Sharon) Campbell,
Cochrane, AB; and daughter, Pam White, Kentville; grandchildren, Ryan
(Cassidy) Gould and Amanda (Isaiah) Hatt Gould; step-grandchildren,
Alyssa Hopkins and Liam Hopkins and Cody and Tyler White;
great-grandson, Brayden Hatt Gould; brother, David (Sharon) Pearcey,
PEI; sisters-in-law, Arvella (Ron) Tilley and Darlene Rideout; as well
as several nieces and
nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased
by her son-in-law, David White of Kentville; sister-in-law, Barbara
Campbell; brother-in-law, Weldon Rideout; niece, Tammy and nephew,
Michael.
A special thank you to the Dialysis Unit Staff
for providing such great care these past few years. Their kindness is
greatly appreciated.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of
Dorothy’s life will take place at a later date. In lieu of
