Doris Louise Bartlett passed peacefully away on Friday, October 7, 2022 at Corner Brook Long Term Care with family by her side at the age of 82. We will miss her deeply but take comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her husband and best friend Lloyd Bartlett. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories, children: Sean Bartlett (Sandra), Ron Bartlett (Karen), Lisa Colbourne (Darren); grandchildren: Angela Clow (Dwayne), Kimberly Bartlett, Ashley Serbin (Kane), Heather Gordon (Ryan), Rebecca Johnson (Richard), Matthew Colbourne, Jacob Colbourne; great grandchildren: Haylie Broad, Harper Clow, Denver Clow, Amelia Johnson; sister Jean Manuel. As well numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Lloyd Bartlett; parents Virtue Payne and Gordon Manuel; brother Harry Manuel, sister -in-law Marion Manuel, brother-in-law Bert Manuel, mother and father-in-law Roy and Gussila Bartlett.
Special thank you to the staff of Corner Brook Long Term Care DVA Unit for their kindness, compassion, and support. We are so grateful she has been in your care these past two years.
Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home 4 St. Mark’s Avenue Monday, October 10 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Fillatre Funeral Homes Chapel, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue Tuesday Oct 11, 2022 at 11:00 am with Reverend John van Vliet officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
