Doris Irene Cunningham
Born: June 25, 1924, in Flesherton, Ontario
Died: October 13, 2022, in Greenwood Nursing Home, Stratford, Ontario
Aged 98 years
Doris resided in Stratford and was the daughter of the late Edwin and Mildred Loucks of Flesherton. Doris and her late husband Archie were the owners of Cunningham’s Paint & Wallpaper in Stratford. Doris was a member of The Downie Community Club.
Beloved wife of Archie whom she married December 29, 1945. Loving mother of Mary and her husband Ken Neely of Bobcaygeon, Kathryn Doell (deceased), Shirley and husband Larry Gilpin of London, Ruth Stanners of Stratford, Joan and husband Larry Wood of Brighton, Russell Cunningham of Stratford, Tim Cunningham and wife SuSu of Seaforth, Bill Cunningham and wife Ednah of Abbotsford, and Tom Cunningham of Stratford. Ever remembered by 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Dear sister of Cliff (Ineke) Loucks and Milford (late Geraldine) Loucks, and predeceased by George (late Dorothy) Loucks, Carman (Marie) Loucks, Verna (late Raeburn) Almond, Jack (late Edna) Loucks, Norman (late Mary) Loucks, Ronald (late Margaret) Loucks, Jean (late Syl) Merla, and Ross (Sandra) Loucks.
At her request, a private family service and internment will occur at Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg after cremation. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
