Born in Hamilton, Ontario to Ted (1973) and Vera (1973) Rowe. Doris was the eldest daughter and sister to Grace (Apr. 20, 2009). Beloved wife of the late John (Feb. 4, 1973). Wonderful mother to Ken (2002), Richard (Rose), Vera Haller (Richard). Cherished grandmother to Barry (Christine) and Kristine. Adoring great-grandmother to Aaron, Zachery, Kara, Kaylan, Karly and Kurt. Special companion and friend to Francis Loeffler (Aug. 21, 2001).
Doris will be remembered for her love of baking, her kindness to all she met and especially her love of animals, especially Lucy. The family would like to thank all the staff at Extendicare Tecumseh for their compassionate care she received during the last 9 months. Also heartfelt thank you to caregivers Anne and Sandy for the wonderful attention and love shown to Doris over the last several years. Our family is grateful for your kindness.
Although we are saddened by mom’s death, we are grateful that she enjoyed a long and happy life.
