Dorilla Belliveau, 91, resident of Auberge du Soleil in
Dieppe and formerly of Moncton, passed away peacefully on Monday May
2, 2022 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Cocagne, she was the
daughter of the late Albert and Lina (Léger)
Léger.
Dorilla enjoyed spending time at her cottage in Caissie Cape
as well as travelling. She loved the company of her children, but
cherished each and every moment spent with her precious grandchildren.
She also enjoyed chatting on the telephone and keep updated on the
news with family and friends.
She is survived by four children: Janice LeBlanc (Albert) of
Moncton, Charline Brideau (Jean-Marc) and Michel (Diane), both of
Dieppe, and Francine Belliveau (Stephen Collingwood) of Fredericton;
six grandchildren: Scott, Kelly, Justin, Josée, Janie, and
Natasha; six great-grandchildren: Annabelle, Summer, River, Xavier,
Landen, and Hannah; one sister, Juliette LeBlanc (late Joseph) of
Dieppe; one brother, Omer (late Thérèse) of
Waltham, Mass.; her friend who had a special place in her heart,
Maurice Boudreau; as well as several nieces and
nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband,
Isidore (2000); one grandson, Karey (2010); one sister, Albertine
(2018).
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) where the
funeral service will be celebrated on Friday May 6 at 11 am. Visiting
hours are Friday from 9:30 am until time of funeral.
Face covering is recommended. The funeral

on our Website. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery,
Dieppe. In memory of Dorilla, a contribution to the N.B. Heart and
Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
