Doreen Alice Coble

It is with great sadness that we announce that Doreen Coble (Dickson), born December 24, 1926, in Saskatoon passed away on July 13, 2022 at Samaritan Place at the age of 95.
Doreen was predeceased by her loving husband John in 2001 after 51 years of marriage; her son, Gary in 1988; and her parents Albert and Dora Dickson.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra, her husband Albert Shpyth of Saskatoon and their two daughters, Megan of Saskatoon and Sara (Tyson) of Halifax, NS.
Also surviving her is her loving sister Frances (Fred) Heel of Coquitlam, BC., Niece, Donna of New Westminster and Nephew, Allan (Helen) of Vernon, B.C.
As requested by Doreen, a private graveside service was held for close family at Woodlawn Catholic Cemetery, conducted by Fr. Graham Hill.
The family would like to extend their deep gratitude to Dr. Anne Doig for the excellent care she gave Doreen over many years and the caring staff at Samaritan Place, especially Cheryl Resnick, for her constant care, kindness and compassion of Mom during her 5 year stay at Samaritan Place.
Also, a thank you to the care staff that were loving and vigilant at Mom’s side during the last difficult week. They are truly all Mom’s angels.
In lieu of flowers, donations on Mom’s behalf can be made to Muscular Dystrophy, Heart and Stroke Association or the Alzheimer’s Society.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Doreen
