Dorathea passed away peacefully in her home on September 3rd, 2022. Born on January 11, 1931 in Helden, Limburg, Holland. Daughter of the late Leonardus and Wilhelmina (Vandekerkhof) Dorssers. Beloved wife of the late William Vandenberg (2008). Dear mother of Wendy (George) McLean, John (Laura) Vandenberg, Leon (Lynn) Vandenberg, and Paul Vandenberg. Devoted grandmother of Amanda (Jason) Brown, Chris (Lauren) McLean, Nicholas (Nicole) McLean, Jamie (Jodie) Vandenberg, Tyler Vandenberg, Matthew Vandenberg, Katelyn Vandenberg and great Oma of Michael and Ben Brown, Bodie, Jace, Madelyn and Emily McLean.
Dora was the twelfth of fifteen children born in Holland. Sister of Nel+ (John+) Timmermans, Lies Dorsser+, Nes+ (Wim+) Verdellen, Marie+ (Peter+) Joosten, Grada+ (Ben+) Luiking, Annie+ (Theo+) VanVugt, Jet (Toen+) Haenen, Wilma (Gerry+) Willemsen, Christine+ (Jack+) VanHaren, Andrew+ (Ann) Dorssers, Cor+ (Joanne) Dorssers, Tony+ (Siham+) Dorssers, Hank+ (Joanne+) Dorssers and Bill (Mary) Dorssers.

Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
