SINGH Doodh Nath (1941-2022)
Passed away, suddenly, on Thursday January 20th, 2022, with loving family member at his side, Ret. Indian Police Officer Mr. Doodh Nath Singh, a resident of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India in his 81st year. Retired Officer served with distinction and honour with the Indian Police Service for over 36 years throughout the Province of Uttar Pradesh, India. ‘’Well respected and much loved.’’
Predeceased by his much-loved wife Phoolwasi Devi Singh (August 24, 2003). Much loved father and father-in-law to Nirmala Rao (Subhash Rao), Jai Prakash Singh (Vandana Singh), Manju Singh (Virender Singh), Ved Prakash Singh (Sarla Singh), Asha Singh (Sushil Raghuvanshi), Satya Prakash Singh (Ramanpreet Singh). Proud and loving grandfather of twelve grandchildren and three great- grandchildren and other extended family.
Family viewing and visitation will take place on Friday, January 21st, 2022, in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes – Burial and Cremation Services Inc., Chapel, 262 Broadway Street, Tillsonburg, Ontario (519)842-4238), entrusted with all arrangements.
Traditional Hindu Funeral Service to Honour and Celebrate the Life of Mr. Doodh Nath Singh will be conducted on Saturday, January 22nd, 2022, at the Bayview Crematorium, 740 Spring Garden Road, Burlington, Ontario, by a Hindu Guru (who immigrated to Canada from the same Indian City as the family). Ashes will be respectfully rested in the Ganges River at a later date.
