Obituary of Don Percy
Percy, Donald Drysdale of Aylmer passed away peacefully with family by his side at his residence on Monday, August 8, 2022 in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Dorothy (Boughner) Percy. Dear father of Dianna Hewson(Ron), Christine Tribe(late Wendell), Sherry Percy-Gray(Wayne), and Kelly Zavitz(Mike). Loving papa of David(Kathryn), Donnie(Jenn), Dawn(Chuck), Dana(Justin), Brooke(Gavin), Blair(Jaime) Tara(Adam), Michael(Jamie), and Dylan. Dear great-papa of Kylee, Lilah, Annabel, Khaleesia, Owen, Rowan, Shyla, Hennessey, and Hazel. Also survived by his brother-in-law John Boughner(Diane), and a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Commanda, Ontario on October 26, 1931, son of the late Owen and Glyde (Welter) Percy. Don was a truck driver for Walker Transport for 38 years. Don loved the trailer, boating, and fishing at Fin and Feather, Long Point. He travelled to every state in the U.S., including Alaska. Don enjoyed the winters spent in Florida with the love of his life, Dorothy. He will be missed by his cats, Squeak and Tag. Through it all, Don never lost his sense of humour.
