It is with broken hearts we announce the untimely death of
Donna Marie Pittman on February 23, 2022 at the young age of 47 years,
after a fierce battle with cancer. A devoted wife, mother, daughter,
granddaughter, sister, sister in law, aunt, friend and
daughter-in-law.
Predeceased by her Nanny and Poppy Pittman (Margaret and
James).
Left to mourn her loss are her husband Damian, son Austin
(Faith) her daughter Ashley, and her darling grandchildren Ethan and
Remington, whom she adored beyond words.
Donna also leaves to mourn her parents Annie and Alonzo
Pittman; her grandmother Lucy Taylor; her brothers Wallace (Michelle),
Lloyd (Jeanette), and James (Carrie); and her sister and best friend
Dot Wicks (Clyde); Mother- and Father-in-law Kevin and Mary Brewer,
sisters-in-law Shellie Brewer (John Taylor) and Rhonda Griffiths
(Ambrose); numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends, too many to
mention; as well as great niece Gracie B and great nephew John
Patrick.
Donna faced many health challenges in her life, and faced
them head on with courage, determination, hope and an overwhelming
will to live, as shown in her final days. Most people could never have
fathomed what she endured, but yet she fought the fight until the
bitter end.
Resting at Maher’s Funeral Home Thursday, February 24th
from 7-9 pm and Friday, February 25th from 10am-12pm, 2-5pm and 7-9
pm. Mass of Christian Burial to take place Saturday, February 26, 2022
at 10:30am at Most Holy Rosary Church, Freshwater. Interment to follow
at Dermot McGettigan Memorial Cemetery, Southeast
Placentia.
