Donna’s Obituary
GIESBRECHT, Donna Lee ~ Age 58, of Kingston, Kings Co. Donna was delivered to Beverley and Edgar Giesbrecht in 1963, in Germany. Her parents returned to Canada shortly after her birth. She mostly grew up in Greenwood and Auburn, where she attended West Kings District High School and graduated from Acadia University. She started her career with the Canadian Armed Forces and finished with the Canadian Public Service. Donna lived in Wimbledon, England for several years. While there she learned how to dive and had adventures around the world doing just that and other fun things. Missing home, she returned to Kingston where she spent the rest of her life. Donna wholeheartedly loved living in Kingston, spending time with her dogs, and having a good chat. She is survived by her sister, Gale Bulkley (Peter), ON; and her brothers, Gary, AB and Dennis (Danna), ON. She died unexpectedly at home on December 29, 2021. Donna was loved and is deeply missed by some very special friends and her large, extended family. In light of the ever-increasing infection level of the pandemic, there will be no visitation or memorial service. Please consider a donation to the SPCA or the Heart & Stroke Foundation in her memory. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, toll free 1-855-825-3448.
