We, the family of Donna Helen Connors, regret to announce her passing on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at Harbourstone Enhanced Care, Sydney, with her loving family by her side.
Born March 5, 1947, in Bolton, ON, she was the daughter of the late Don Robbins and Vivian (Peddle) McLeod.
Besides being the strongest woman we know, our mother was the kindest, most generous person, who always put others ahead of herself, especially her children. As a dedicated mother, she treasured and embraced every moment with us. She especially loved her role as grandmother. Her grandchildren always put a twinkle in her beautiful blue eyes!
Donna is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Connors, Sydney; sons, David, Prime Brook and Jim (Lisa), Sydney; grandchildren, Mariah MacNeil and Vicki, Elizabeth, Glenn and Michael Connors; great-grandson, Nolan Connors; sisters, Lauren (Winston) Seaton, BC, Joanne (Marty) Prear, BC, Carol Gibson (Tim Hynes), ON and Judy (Keith) Toomey, Truro; brothers, Bryan (Debbie) McLeod, Sydney and Wendell (Teresa) Mercer, BC; and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. She is also survived by the father of her children, Jim Connors, Sydney and brother-in-law, Jim Kozak, ON.
Besides her parents, Donna was predeceased by her granddaughter, Rebecca Connors; sisters, Juanita in infancy and Nancy Kozak; and brother, Steve Robbins.
We would like to thank the staff of Harbourstone Enhanced Care and Maple Hill Manor for the wonderful, compassionate care provided to our mother.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Sydney Memorial Chapel. Family will gather for a celebration of life at a later date.
