Donna Cinotti-Kivinen Cinotti Friday May 20th 2022

In Loving Memory
of
Donna Cinotti Kivinen
67 years
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Cinotti Kivinen, on Friday, May 20, 2022, at the Maison McCulloch Hospice with her family by her side. She was the wife of Ray Kivinen (predeceased in 2008) and mother of Jason Kivinen. Daughter of Walter and Mary (Tarini) Cinotti, predeceased, and sister to Vera Pentland (Brian) both deceased. She is survived by her sisters, Josie McLaughlin (Mike) and Linda McCrory (Barry). She was an incredibly loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews; David McLaughlin (Corinna), Tammy Brown (Peter), Shawn Pentland, Paula Butcher (Matt), Morgan Bedard (Justin), and Colin McCrory (Liz). She was a great aunt to Karlene (Lucas), Cameron (Sarah), Curtis, Evan, Michael, James, Noah, Avery, and Garrett.
Donna worked for many years at the family business, Gatchell Meat Market. She made the most delicious gnocchi, which were sold for years in many businesses, and which earned her the title of ‘Gnocchi Queen’. She has been a valued receptionist and friendly face at the House of Kin since 2009.
Donna was an active member of St. Anthony’s Parish. Over the years she served on parish council, the finance committee, and she was a member of the Catholic Women’s League.
She grew up with and remained close to her many friends from Gatchell. To say that they had many great times together would be an understatement.
We would like to thank her family and friends who were able to visit with Donna while she was at the Hospice and for the many donations of food that were sent to us.
The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to Dr. Walton, Dr. Langille and the incredible team of Nurses, PSW’s and support staff at Maison McCulloch Hospice for their amazing care and compassion during Donna’s final journey.
