Obituary of Donald Joseph MacLellan
MacLELLAN, Donald J. “Donnie”
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Donald, a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, on November 26, 2022 at the age of 80. Beloved husband to Lynn (nee Parent) with whom he celebrated 55 years of marriage. Loving father to the late Danny MacLellan (December 6, 2018) and surviving wife Karen Durocher, Gerard MacLellan and wife Julie, late Jason MacLellan (November 14, 1970) and Scot MacLellan and wife Sonja. Cherished grandpa to Brandon, Alex and Abby, and great-grandpa to Kaiden. Donnie is predeceased by parents Hughie Dan MacLellan and wife Lillian (nee MacDonald). Dear brother to A.D., Robert, Gerard, Tina, Margie, Millie, Anna, Eileen and Claire, and predeceased by siblings Peter, James, Angus and Johnny. Dear son in-law to the late Rosaire Parent and wife Rose (nee Dorey). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Donnie retired from Chrysler Canada, Plant #3 after 34 years of dedicated service and was a member of Unifor Local 444. At his request cremation has already taken place. Arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519) 253-7234. As an expression of sympathy and to honour Donnie, memorial donations may be made to the Windsor Es County Cancer Centre Foundation (2220 Kildare Rd. Windsor, Ontario N8W 2X3).
