Donald Don McNabb 1935 2022

Obituary of Donald McNabb
Peacefully passed away at home with his family by his side on Saturday, July 2, 2022 in his 86th year. Loving husband and friend of Katheen for 58 years. Cherished father of Scott (Susan) and Brett. Don is survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law and his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Donald and Gladys McNabb, brother Gordon McNabb (Marlene), sister Betty Muncaster (Allan), nephew Stuart McNabb, brothers-in-law William, George, Don and Alfred and sisters-in-law Eva, Mary, Nellie, Rosie and Frances.
Don was born in Dryden and raised in Ignace but spent most of his life in Geraldton. He spent the later part of retirement in the Sault. Don had a passion for aviation since he was a young man and had a long career as a pilot from the 1950’s to the early 2000’s. He spent 30 years flying for the Ontario Provincial Air Service. He was a very loving and caring man, and his family and pets were always his first priority. Don loved to build and always had a project or renovation on the go.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758).

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Donald
