Donald Leo “Donnie”
Lindsay – 48,
Debert/Belmont. It saddens us to announce that Belmont has lost yet
another member of our great community way too soon.
Donnie was loved by many and will be sadly missed by all,
especially by his loving parents, Brian and Debbie (MacPhee) Lindsay;
brother, David (Yolanda) Lindsay; nephews, Josh Lindsay, Kolby
Lindsay, Landen Lindsay. Donnie finally found his soul mate, Kimberly
Cameron, who was a God send to not only Donnie but his family as well.
Donnie is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Ricky (Vera) Lindsay,
Larry Lindsay, Michael Lindsay, Donna and Jim Lindsay, Donnie (Maude)
MacPhee, Donna (Larry) Bowman, Betty (Danny) Simms, Bev Beaton, Cathy
(Stanley) Fisher, Parker (Shelley) MacPhee; many
cousins.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Don and Peg MacPhee,
Stub and Shirley Lindsay; aunts and uncles, Pauline Lindsay, Shirley
Ann Lindsay, Randy Lindsay, Shirley MacPhee, Tony
Beaton.
Donnie lived his life on his own terms. He played hard but
loved even harder. It didn’t take much to make Donnie happy
– a good ole Chevy, a cold Bud light with a nip of Fireball
and his caring woman by his side. Roll on, Donnie, we’ll
take the wheel down here. Drop us a dime and show us you’ve
here.
If so desired, donations in Donnie’s memory to
Colchester SPCA are welcomed.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall –
Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Private messages of
condolence may be sent to the family by viewing Donnie’s
obituary on-line and selecting “Send A Condolence” at:
