Donald Gallant 1954 2022

Donald Gallant, 68, of Cap-Pelé, passed away on
Wednesday, August 17th, 2022. Born in
Haute-Aboujagane, he was the son of the late Albert et Olive (LeBlanc)
Gallant.
He was a lumberjack by trade. Donald enjoyed hunting and he
was a music fan. He was a very social man who enjoyed laughing and a
telling a good joke. He adored his children and specially his grand
children.
Donald is survived by his spouse of 48 years, Patricia,
née Cormier; his daughter Lise Poirier (Daniel) of Shediac
and his son Joël (Nick Colpitts) of Moncton; his seven
siblings: Clorice (Steve Jarvis) of Quebec, Eric (Esther), Dorilla
Gallant both of Montreal, Thérèse Bourque (late
Ronald) of Cocagne, Hélène Gautreau (George) of
Memramcook, Hubert (Claire) of Cap-Pelé, and Louis (Louise)
of Haute-Aboujagane; two grand-children: Cédric and Danica
as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was predeceased by an infant baby sister,
Thérèse and a brother, Arthur.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac from where a private chapel
service will be held. Visiting hours are: Monday, August
22 from 7 pm till 9 pm and Tuesday from 2 pm till 4 pm. His
final resting will be resting in the columbarium at Frenette Funeral
and Cremation Centre, Shediac.
In memory of Donald, a donation to the Friends of the Moncton
Hospital (Pulmonary unit), would be greatly
appreciated.

arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation
Centre, Shediac (532-3297).
