It is with a heavy heart that the family of Donald R. ‘Don’ Osudar of Red Deer, Alberta announces his peaceful passing on Monday, December 26, 2022, at the age of 69 years.
Don was born in Brandon, Manitoba on August 7, 1953, to Olga and Steve Osudar. He attended school in Erickson, Manitoba. Don moved at the age of eighteen years to Alberta to work. He worked in Construction as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Don worked all over Alberta, and the last thirty years, he worked in and around Red Deer and Northern Alberta. Don met and married his wife, Glenda on July 23, 1976. They had three children, Russell Osudar, Roberta Emerson, and Rachelle Osudar, and two grandchildren, Brody Osudar and Kalli Emerson. Don was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, and his memory will be forever cherished.
Don will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife of forty-six years, Glenda, his son, Russell, his daughters, Roberta, and Rachelle, and his two grandchildren, Brody, and Kalli. He will also be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews and many friends and co-workers.
Don was predeceased by his parents, Olga and Steve Osudar, a brother-in-law, Barry Jessop, Malcolm and Cecilia Jessop, his parents-in-law, and numerous aunts and uncles.
A Funeral Service will be held at Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 – 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
