Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Donald Archibald Bartlett Sr. at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre on Saturday, May 28th, 2022 at the age of 66 years.
He leaves to mourn with love and gratitude: daughter Sherry Lynn (Myles); son Donald Jr.; his sunshine granddaughter Haley; step-daughter Jennifer (Corey) Rideout; step-grandsons: Evan and Chase; siblings: Diane Murphy (Dale) and Kirk (Roslyn); and sister-in-law Donna Bartlett; as well as a large circle of extended relatives and friends.
Donald was predeceased by: parents Donald and Pearl Bartlett; sister Joan Hickman; and brother Robert Bartlett Sr.
A visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 1st from 7-9 PM at Russell’s Funeral Home, Stephenville.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 3rd at 2:00 PM from Russell’s Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Hillside Interfaith Cemetery.
The family would like to thank:
Paul Ploughman and his staff at BSGLTCC for accommodating Donny and his family, providing care, kindness and generosity to him, we are forever grateful.
A thank you also to all the community health nurses who attended to him while living in the community and to all SW. OT especially rehab units in Stephenville and Corner Brook. We would also like to thank Dr. Allan McComisky for being there for him over his many years as Donny’s physician.
Thank you as well to all of his Homecare workers and friends.
