BENOIT, Don Mercier –
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Don Mercier Benoit, on May 24, 2022, at the age of 77 years old. Predeceased by his loving wife the late Patricia Anne Benoit (nee Cheeseman). Survived by his devoted children Michele (Dan Marchesan), Tamara (Kenneth Dunne) and Dawn Anne (Paul Hindman). Cherished grandfather to Bailey, Michael, Daniela, Benn, and Lyla. Will be remembered by many brothers and sisters. Predeceased by his beloved grandparents Martha and Dennis.
Mercier was a great outdoorsman with a passion for hunting and fishing. He enjoyed spending time at his cottage in Coboconk with family and friends. A passionate family man, and friend to everyone, he will be dearly missed.
The family wishes to thank the staff at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, 4L medicine floor, for their dedicated care.
