Obituary of Domenico Iafrate
IAFRATE, Domenico – With profound sadness we announce the passing of Domenico Iafrate who died peacefully surrounded by his family on 15 December/22 at the age of 75 back in his home town in Italy.
Predeceased by his father, Francisco Iafrate and mother, Ida Campagna and sisters Elisa and Enrica Baldassarre.
Loved by his sisters, brothers, sister-in-law and brothers-in-law in Italy, nieces and nephews both in Canada and Italy and also by all of his great nieces and nephews in Canada and in Italy.
Domenico retired from Nova after 30 yrs. He loved spending time with family for any occasion and celebrating always with a smile. He was a kind and gentle man with a heart of gold. He took on a father-like role with his nieces and nephews when their mothers (Enrica and Elisa) passed.
He enjoyed dancing so much so that he watched Dancing with the Stars and used to tell everyone who his favourite dancers were on the show.
He will be greatly missed as he was loved dearly by everyone, family and friends.
There is a mass being said in his honour at Sacred Heart Church to celebrate his life on 27 December 2022 at 8:30 am.
Funeral Service was held in Broccostella, Italy for him.
