In Celebration of
Domenic Marano
May 29, 1939 –
December 23, 2022
On Friday, December 23, 2022, we announced the passing of Domenic Marano. He was a strong and stoic man who, with all his health challenges, always kept his smile. It is with great sadness that we are faced to grieve this loss and now learn to live without this significant person in our life. Domenic was a cherished husband, father, and proud grandfather. He was a loving partner to Gaetana as well as a wonderful father to Tina, Jim (Mary), Marisa (John). He was an attentive and dedicated nonno to Julia, Monica, Domenic, Sofia and Sebastian.
Domenic was born on May 29th, 1939, in Vinchiaturo, Campobasso Italy. In 1946, he immigrated to Canada, eventually settling in Toronto, where he met his wife and later married in 1961 and together for 62 years, they created a beautiful life. He was an exemplary father and grandfather, who was loved and respected by his family, friends and colleagues over the years. His eyes would light up when spent time with his grandchildren and was always ready to offer his wisdom. Domenic was kind and respectful, with a generous heart and he will certainly be missed by many.
Rest in peace Domenic, you are loved.
