After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Dolphis.
He leaves to mourn his daughter Haily (Collin); sons Derek and Shawn; siblings Mavis, Albert (Peggy), Sadie (Chuck), Roger, Wendy (Calvin), Penny, Timmy (Patsy); daughter-in-law Jody; lifelong best friend Keith (Sandra); grandchildren Damion, Tristan, Zenon, Morgan and Dolphis; numerous nephews and nieces; mother-in-law Edna; and brothers-in-law John, Alan (Sue), and Murray. He will be missed by many loved ones.
He was predeceased by his wife Diane; son Dolphis; brother Maurice; sister Lea; brother-in-law Jack; father-in-law Edward; and parents Dolphis and Irene.
Dolphis had a lifelong career at the Safeway bakery until retirement. His passions in life were being a Dad and Grandpa. He enjoyed golf, watching game shows and sports, and spending time with his pets Mushu, Leo, and Bowman.
His humour, wit, and kindness will forever be loved and missed. A special thanks to everyone who showed their love and support for Dolphis.
A service will be held at St. Luke’s Zion Lutheran Church, 2903 McPhillips St. on Saturday September 24, 2022 at 3:00pm.
