We are saddened to announce the peaceful passing of Dolores Thurston in her 90th year surrounded by her family that was so important to her. She was predeceased by her parents Nick and Sarah Ferris and her brother Joe Ferris. She is survived by her husband of 69 years Ted Thurston, her sister Loretta Ferris, her sister in law Anna Ferris, her children Sandy Innes (Richard), Ellen Walker (David), Wendy Iatzko Von Friedrick (Jeff), Greg Thurston (Crystal), 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She spent many joyful years serving as a school secretary and executive assistant with the Greater Es District School Board. In lieu of flowers please consider making a monetary donation to Byron United Church. Cremation has occurred. A celebration of life will be held at Byron United Church on Saturday November 5 with a service at 11:00 followed by a light lunch.
