Dini’s Obituary
Rushton, Maudini “Dini” Florence – 90, Oxford, passed away on February 25, 2022 in Parkstone Enhanced Care, Halifax. Born in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Margaret (McCabe) Jaques. Dini was a past member of Royal Canadian Legion and St. James Presbyterian Club. She is survived by her sister Josephine Duthie, Dartmouth; brother, Robert (Janet) Jaques, UK; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, David; sisters, Margaret “Peggy” Davis, Norma Tayler, Carol Hargraft, Trish Fuller, Ruby Jaques; brothers, Raymond and Alan. Many thanks to the all the people at Parkstone Enhanced care (Garden Court) for their wonderful care of Dini. A graveside service will be held in Pine Grove Cemetery, Oxford, Sunday, June 12 at 1:30 pm, all are welcome. Arrangements are in the care of MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Oxford. Donations may be made to Alzheimer Society.
