With heavy hearts and profound sadness the family of Bill Schuhmacher of Elk Point announces his peaceful passing at the age of 88 years. He is survived by his children, Brian (Peggy), Monica (Dennis), Margaret (Lawrence), Marlene (James) & Richard (Stacey); 2 sisters, Gisela & Gudrun (Jean-Claude); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Bill was predeceased by his wife, Alvina; his parents, Arthur & Herta, son-in-law, Dennis Romanchuk; & grandson, Tyson Van Brabant. A Private Funeral Service will be held at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Rt. Rev. Protopresbyter John Lipinski will be officiating, with interment in St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Elk Point. Those wishing to view the service online may do so by Livestream on Monday, February 7 at 10:30 a.m. by clicking the Live Service tab above. A recording of the service will also be made available.
