Obituary of Dianne Austin
With a very sad heart we write this to tell friends and family of Dianne Austin’s passing on Saturday, August 27, 2022. She worked very hard to stay with us, eventually giving in and accepting the peace that was waiting. She was predeceased by her parents Pat and Thelma Baldock and her niece Erin Foster. Dianne will always be loved and remembered by her son Darren Austin; sister Norma and husband Tom Foster; nephew Shawn, his wife Reagan Foster and their children; as well as her niece Nicole, her husband Jeremi Korpusik along with their boys as well as many cousins and close friends of Darren’s. She was always honoured to accept another friend request on Facebook.
Dianne had a heart of gold, willing to help wherever she could, which was always evidenced in Darren’s life adventures. Her working life saw her many years with Department of Agriculture, Lands Branch, retiring from that position while in Swift Current. After retiring Dianne moved back to Regina where she stayed, enjoying for several years working different positions with Kelly’s Temporary Services.
Dianne’s love of family certainly came first but a close second was her love of animals. This included her dog, KayDee for many years, and from then her kitty, Lucy who is missing her now.
Our sincere thank you to the Palliative Home Care staff, and the staff on the 3A Palliative Care ward at the Pasqua Hospital. Very special people. At this time, we ask in lieu of flowers, a donation to The Regina Humane Society be made in her memory. Memorial service will be held at a later date.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Dianne
