It is with heavy hearts that the family announces her passing in Sudbury on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at the age of 62 years, after a courageous four-year battle with cancer. Daughter of the late Gerry and Doreen (née Karchie) Morin. Beloved spouse of Jerome Hickey. Loving mother of Chad and Sydney (Brad). Cherished sister of Nancy (JR) and Cheryl (Carey). Predeceased by her sister Debbie (John). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Also, deeply missed by her fur companion Chloe who was always by her side. Diane loved life, listening to good music and spending time at camp with friends and family. She will always be remembered for her strength, good humor, and sincerity. As per the family’s wishes, there will be no service or visitation. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations by cheque or online to the Gord Downie and Chanie Wenjack Fund would be appreciated.
