Passed away on October 3rd, 2022 at the Dr. L. A. Miller Center surrounded by her family Diane Wheeler Harding aged 50 years. Predeceased by her father Leonard Wheeler. Leaving to mourn her husband Rick McDonald; sons Robin Long (Stacey), Jake Long, Rick and Luke Harding; stepsons Brad McDonald (Chandel) and Kyle McDonald (Caitland); mother Patricia Murray Wheeler; sister Susan; brothers Len and Ken; grandchildren Aveyah, Logan and Keegan.
Also leaving to mourn a large circle of relatives and a very small circle of very special girl friends who supported her throughout her journey (you know who you are…..she loved you guys).
The family would like to express sincere gratitude to the nurses and staff at both the Cancer Care Clinic and the Palliative Care Unit with a very special thankyou to Dr. Cheryl Hurley for the care and respect she showed Diane throughout her illness.
Resting at Cauls Funeral Home LeMarchant Road on Thursday from 2 pm to 5 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm.
Funeral to take place on Friday at Caul’s Chapel at 11 a.m.
Cremation to follow with inurnment to follow on Saturday at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Kilbride.
Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made to the charity of your choice in her name.
