Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Diane Margaret Barter, loving wife of Gerard Barter, announce her passing on Saturday July 2, 2022 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Diane was born in Deer Lake, NL on the 15th of April, 1954 and was the daughter of Edith (George) Lemoine and the late Howard Lemoine. Diane was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who cherished every moment spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
In addition to her mother Edith and her husband of 49 years, Gerard, she is survived by her son Gerald (Ashley) Barter; daughter Miranda (Greg) Owen; brother Clarence Lemoine; sisters Clara (Kay) Campbell, Darlene Black and Brenda Lemoine; grandchildren Alicia Barter, Kourtnay Barter, Tyson Owen, Kori Owen, Kayden Barter and great grandson Dean Owen as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father and her sister Marie.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road. By request there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to Stan Cassidy Centre.
