Obituary
It is with broken hearts and great sadness the family announces the passing of Devin Nicholas Wood which occurred suddenly at his home on Sunday, August 28th, 2022. Born January 13th, 1995, in Saint John, he is the son of Gerry Wood (Erin Murphy) and Sandi Wood (the late Bob Gill). Devin had a passion for Art and Photography. He had a creative mind and an eye that could capture the most incredible things. He was very kind-hearted and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Along with his parents, Devin is survived by his sister Sarah Martin (Marc) of Saint John; step-sister Lauren Doucette of Quispamsis; step-brother Noah Doucette of Quispamsis; paternal grandparents Gerald and Bonnie Wood; best friends Kaitlyn Fostey and Carla Ann Ringler; as well as many cousins and friends. Devin was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Sandra and Larry LeBlanc.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). A Celebration of Devin’s Life will take place at Fundy Funeral Home on Thursday, September 1st from 12 to 2 p.m. A private family interment will be held at Fernhill Cemetery. Donations in memory of Devin may be made to The Canadian Mental Health Association or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
