Passed peacefully away at his residence on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, Derrick Cyril Butt of Carbonear, age 69 years.
Predeceased by parents: Cyril and Edith Butt; sister: Glenys Parsons.
Leaving to mourn, sister: Joanne (Charles) Archibald, Harbour Grace; brother: Bruce, Conception Bay South; nieces and nephews: Robert (Kim) Parsons, Freshwater, Carbonear, special niece: Allison Parsons “AKA Sally”, Alberta, Andrew (Collette) Archibald, Harbour Grace, David (Samantha) Archibald, Paradise, Andrea Butt, Allison Butt, both of Ontario, Amy (Andrew) Wadden, and Ashleigh Butt (Andrew), both of St. John’s; great-nieces and great-nephews: Kelsie Parsons, Bailee Reynolds (Kane), Mitchell Reynolds, Mya Archibald, Jack Archibald, Peter Archibald, and Amelia Wadden; brother-in-law: Frank Parsons, Carbonear; also a number of other relatives and friends.
Visitation at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Tuesday, November 1 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
A private family interment will be held at a later date determined by the family.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
